It highlights the need for risk assessment in the workplace, the implementation of the necessary control measures, and adequate communication to sustain a health and safety culture among the workforce. This course is nationally recognised and if you are a business owner, you may be eligible for funding.

On successful completion of this course, you will be awarded a 5 year certificate.
A natural progression from this course would be to attend the Site management safety training scheme course or to attend the Site environmental awareness training scheme course, which is aimed at supervisor level.
